In the early 1970's, Harry Day Frueauff, Jr. became the third Foundation president. His leadership not only helped increase the Foundation's resources but also broadened its grant making strategies. Foundation assets increased sevenfold and the average grant increased from $5,000 to $25,000.

Active Living Research- Year Round

Established in 2001, Active Living Research supports research to identify environmental factors and policies that influence physical activity. With an interest on reversing the rise of childhood obesity, our research now focuses on active living related to youth in low-income and high-risk communities. Our community investment priorities reflect the global and local nature of our business and focuses on those global pillars where The Coca-Cola Company can make a unique and sustainable difference: water stewardship, active healthy living, community recycling, and education.
